Libraries have changed a lot since I started working in 1990. We had just gotten computers for checking customers in and out but the card catalog was still around. One thing that hasn't changed- and shouldn't- is children's story hour. There are so many wonderful kid's books!

I remember bits of how libraries have advanced. I think one of the best things for libraries, librarians, and students has been the improvement of library catalog software. I recall in middle school and high school choosing to walk the aisles looking for what I wanted rather than try to figure out what was going on in the electronic system.

I agree and it's nice of you to say so! Here in Wrinklewood, FL it's never good enough for these old folks. And being of AARP age myself, I sorta understand their frustrations. Mostly I think they just like to grump.
